Aboriginal news from down-under. Australia that is. Aboriginal issues are pretty much the same all over the world.		 cdn Alberta Native News - non-native publisher distributing in mostly western provinces. Makes the claim "No Government Grants" and the first native paper that published without government grants. The point is as a non-native publication, it didn't have that option. Today almost no publications receive any grants other than start-up grants. The important point with this publication is, it does circulate and it has a variety of content assembled from news releases as well as by writers and submission by advertisers. If any real vice can be pointed out, it is that much of the advertising is charitable and support based sold on sympathy sales pitches, so half the advertising is offering the readership little value.
